A large trading account can completely change your life - it changed mine

Let's rewind to 2018. A friend introduced me to forex trading and promised me if I started with just $1000 I could get rich from trading. And as you can guess… It turned out to be one of those typical MLM pyramid schemes where everyone who looks like they’re making money.. effectively just makes money off broker commissions from you signing up!

But, it still changed my life forever. Here’s why

Because, although I made absolutely zero money from signing up to that useless pyramid scheme, it still introduced me to the world of Forex trading and opened my eyes to this phenomenon of seeing people become financially free by making money online. Seeing them always traveling the world and living this life of luxury and freedom nagged at me and I was determined to do the same

The Gamechanger

So I began trying to trade with all the money I had at the time, which was like a thousand bucks. But this was a disaster! I was trying in vain to trade my tiny $1000 account and replicate all these Forex gurus who were making big money and told me I could do the same! But I was just taking big losses and when I did end up winning trades, I was only making chump change profits, barely enough to buy myself a kebab on a Friday night. This wasn’t it. Carrying on like this and I wasn’t even going to be able to escape my day job, let alone reach financial freedom of any sort.

The problem obviously was that I was trying to trade with my tiny $1000 account and somehow make life changing money, which in hindsight just isn’t possible without gambling and risking blowing your account..

Boom! What happened?

Months went by. One day I got invited by a friend to a Forex convention in London’s financial district, Canary Wharf. I got chatting to real profitable day traders in the city who let me in on a simple secret that most people aren’t familiar with; how to leverage prop firms.

"What are Prop Firms?" I asked..

Prop Firms are essentially companies who give big trading accounts to traders like yourself. The amounts they give you range from the tens to HUNDREDS of thousands! So you can effectively be trading with 6 figures of capital! If you still haven’t fathomed how much money that is yet..yes that really is $100,000+

This was mind-blowing to me! Why had no one told me about this? These influencers never seemed to mention it so surely it can’t be that great?

Well it turns out influencers simply don’t like to promote it as they can’t make any affiliate commissions this way as there’s no broker in between to pay them for sign ups. Typical eh!

But with this new found information I was determined to start trading Forex properly and started to research more on how I could get funded with a $100k account. Because it doesn’t take a genius to work out if I could just simply make 5-10% profit on a $100,000 account that would be way more profitable than making 5-10% on my measly $1000 account right?

I don’t need to do the maths for you but 5-10% on $100,000 is $5-10k..a month! Naturally, I thought surely there must be some catch, why would the prop firms give away so much money to people?

Well of course they don’t just give it to anyone, you need to be able to trade and also prove that to them in the form of a trading challenge. They also take a profit split of the money you make, which is a fair deal considering you're using their money.

But there was still one big problem...

I wasn’t great at trading myself..

But this is where the real game changer was. The guys who introduced prop firms to me initially simply laughed and said they don’t even trade themselves, they just let an A.I. bot do all the trading for them.

This was news to me as I didn’t even know that was possible and thought it was all about staring at charts all day looking for trade setups. I managed to convince one of the guys to give me access to the A.I. bot they used and he eventually agreed.
